Tyga takes on his critics in his new video for “Scandal” that finds the embattled rapper fighting back against persecution by the media.
Shot from a Spanish cathedral in Barcelona, Tyga wraps himself in religious imagery while taking on the tabloids and haters, who, apparently, are not happy with all the Cartier and Chanel he’s rocking.
Just weeks ago, Tyga dropped the video for “Stimulated,” which featured Kylie Jenner and put their love affair front and center.

The lyrics to “Scandal” also highlight the controversy surrounding his relationship with Kylie, who was still a minor when their dating rumors began to surface.
“Now they trying to put a scandal on me / Say she young, she was asking for it / She was asking for it, I had the answers for it/ All I want to do is tell my story”
But this time, Tyga’s not only doubling down, he is claiming victimhood. He’s in a cathedral with all the majesty that comes along with stained glass windows but there is no confession to be had. Instead, he fires plenty of shots at the haters from the house of love.
“They trying to put another scandal on me/ They trying to get a better handle on me/ They hate the way a n—a swaggin on them/ All this Cartier and Chanel I’m rocking”
