In his video for “Hey Mama,” a surprisingly clean David Guetta takes a dune buggy out into the desert (best guess: near Palm Springs), while the rest of his crew hops on a rusted-out party bus and a few motorbikes to come along for the ride.

The extras are dressed in Mad Max post-apocalyptic inspired states of near-nudity but with lots of color and embellishments, like feathers, scarves and neon face paint that the rebels in Mad Max would never have been able to get their hands on.

Also, I’d love to hear about how fabric dye is something that continues after the apocalypse in a a world with limited water resources. There’s a functional reason for the color scape of Mad Max and dropping a red leotard on someone isn’t a great way to stick to the realms of the believable.
